What reaches me

If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address and message you provide. The form service and web host may also process technical details such as your IP address, browser, date, time and requested page so they can deliver the service and prevent spam or abuse.

What I do with it

I use contact details to read and reply to your message. I use technical information to keep the site reliable and secure. These activities rely on my legitimate interests in communicating with visitors and operating a safe website; where the law requires something else, I rely on that legal obligation or your consent.

Who may process it

Information may pass through providers that host the site, protect it and deliver contact-form messages. They process information to provide those services. I do not rent or sell your details, and I share them only where necessary for the service or where required by law.

How long it stays

Messages are kept only while they remain useful for the conversation, administration or a legal requirement, then deleted or anonymised. Security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational schedule.

Cookies and outside sites

This site does not intentionally use advertising cookies. Essential storage may be used by service providers for security and delivery. Social links take you to other companies, whose own privacy notices then apply.

Your rights

You may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, depending on the circumstances. Contact me using the message form. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
